Quickly synchronize your highlights from Kindle, Apple Books, Instapaper, Pocket, Medium, Goodreads, and even paper books. Then start building a daily review habit using the app and daily email. By reviewing your highlights every day, you'll retain dramatically more and you'll finally stop forgetting all the details from books you just finished! --- “Readwise is my favorite new service this year. Save highlights from Kindle, Instapaper, and now tweets... one of the best long-term personal learning tools I’ve come across.” — Caleb Hicks “Besides my Kindle, Readwise has been the most influential tech for improving my reading process.” — Blake Reichmann “If you use Kindle or Instapaper or just enjoy keeping and reading highlights, please sign up to Readwise. It will become one of your cherished services.” — Christopher Galtenberg --- ACTUALLY USE YOUR HIGHLIGHTS Highlighting is great, but why bother if you're never going to see any of your highlights again? Readwise makes it easy to quickly liberate all your highlights into one place, ensuring that you'll actually see and use them, including highlights from: • Amazon Kindle • Apple iBooks • Instapaper • Pocket • Medium • Goodreads • Twitter • Physical Books (using OCR) • Manual Input • CSV Upload STOP FORGETTING WHAT YOU READ How often do you finish a book, only to forget the key ideas two weeks later? We don't remember things by just reading them once. Readwise solves this problem using scientifically proven learning techniques called Spaced Repetition and Active Recall. Readwise resurfaces the right highlights at the right times using a daily email and an app. Readwise even makes it possible to convert your best highlights into flashcards for added retention. TAG, NOTE, SEARCH, AND ORGANIZE With your highlights all in one place, Readwise enables you to organize and connect these ideas in new ways. Use search to find a highlight instantly; use tag to organize highlights within your library; use notes to add your own annotations. HIGHLIGHT PAPER BOOKS Readwise also makes it possible to take highlights from your physical books and papers using your phone’s camera. Just snap a pic, highlight with your finger, and have your favorite highlights saved forever. --- If you are not already a Readwise subscriber, you can get started immediately with a 30-day free trial with no credit card upfront. About

Yes, I'm Suren't

Features

"Yes, I'm Suren't" helps you to understand if you are overconfident, underconfident, or a combination thereof! More than that, through successive play sessions, it can help you to calibrate your confidence levels and overcome these biases. COGNITIVE BIASES, OVER- AND UNDERCONFIDENCE Cognitive biases poison our mental processes. While it's true that we humans are all susceptible to these biases, it's also true that we can learn how much we are affected by them, and work to minimize their effect in our thinking. And here's where "Yes, I'm Suren't" comes in. The app is designed to help you with two of these biases: overconfidence and underconfidence. It aids you in measuring and calibrating your confidence levels when you say things like "I am 90% sure of that!" or "sorry, no idea!". NOT YOUR REGULAR QUIZ GAME "Yes, I'm Suren't" may look like just a quiz game on the surface, but it goes beyond that. For question you need to provide not only the answer, but you also need to assess how sure you are about it. It doesn't matter if you get the answers right or wrong. What really matters is that your confidence levels match the reality! After each play session the app will show your results, comparing your assessed certainty levels with your actual rate of correct answers. Seeing discrepancies between those is crucial to overcome under- and overconfidence. SELF-IMPROVE, THINK RATIONALLY, MAKE BETTER FORECASTS Everyone can benefit of thinking more clearly and more rationally. It pays off especially for those of us whose jobs or hobbies involve making decisions based on predictions or forecasts. How could you reliably estimate the likelihood of some outcome when your reasoning is obscured by clouds you cannot even notice? TRY FOR FREE, PLAY OFFLINE, DON'T BE SPIED, NO SUBSCRIPTIONS You can download and try "Yes, I'm Suren't" for free. The free version comes with a limited set of questions, so after a play session or two you'll see repeated questions. If you like the app, you can purchase the full question pack, with 1000+ additional questions. And yes, this is a one-time purchase, not a subscription! This app does not collect any data about yourself. It doesn't track you. It doesn't store your answers or results anywhere. You can play it offline, in airplane mode or whatever — well, you need to be online during the act of purchasing the full question pack, but otherwise the app fully works without an Internet connection. NO SILVER BULLET, NO MAGIC WAND I hate that I feel like I need to add this disclaimer, but here I go: this app is not offering or promising a "magic cure" to cognitive biasses or anything. It will not turn you into a genius. It will not make you rich, famous, or irresistibly charming. It is a simple tool (a toy, if you will) that can help you to understand one or two of your own biases and can support your journey to minimize their effects in your thinking. Just this! Have fun and get better!
