Push to try, close the laptop, and get on with your day. BuildWatch shows your recent try pushes, what's still running, what went red, and exactly which tests failed, without opening Treeherder in a browser. Open a push and it tells you what happened in one sentence: "One test broke. Nothing here fails on the parent, so it's probably yours." Tap a failure to see the failure lines and the bugs already filed for it, right in the card. A ring of every job shows the whole push at a glance. • Know if it's yours: new failures are separated from ones that also fail on the parent, already seen before, or known intermittents • The failure, not the log: failure lines and matching Bugzilla bugs, inline • When it'll finish: an estimate of when most results will be in, while a push is running • Anyone's pushes: look up a colleague's pushes by email • Treeherder's look: same colours, same words, in light or dark No sign-in and no account: just enter your Mozilla email.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BuildWatch Moz at none against GitHub's 4. BuildWatch Moz also leads on update cadence (daily vs weekly). GitHub's advantage is ratings volume (39K vs 1) and chart position (#2 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

BuildWatch Moz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GitHub has 39K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
GitHub ships an update weekly, BuildWatch Moz daily. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
