Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Monocular Shot at 4.8 against Impossible Odyssey's 4.0. Monocular Shot also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 2). Impossible Odyssey's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Monocular Shot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monocular Shot has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Impossible Odyssey's written reviews are positive against 67% of Monocular Shot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
