The clearest difference is rating: Deerc GO at 2.9 against VS GPS PRO's 2.1. Deerc GO also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Deerc GO holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VS GPS PRO has 111 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of VS GPS PRO's written reviews are positive against 0% of Deerc GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
VS GPS PRO ships an update every 3 weeks, Deerc GO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
