Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: inFi at 172 against FilterLab's 1. FilterLab's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FilterLab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and inFi sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
FilterLab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: inFi has 172 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of FilterLab's written reviews are positive against 92% of inFi's.
FilterLab ships an update every 4 days, inFi every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
