Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Toonsutra at 100% against Tinyview Comics's 48%. Toonsutra also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Tinyview Comics's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Tinyview Comics sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Toonsutra sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Toonsutra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tinyview Comics has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Tinyview Comics's written reviews are positive against 100% of Toonsutra's.
Tinyview Comics ships an update every 3 weeks, Toonsutra weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
