Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bluebird Focus Timer at 85% against 暗礁助手's 43%. Bluebird Focus Timer also leads on ratings volume (627 vs 1) and device support (6 vs 3). 暗礁助手's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluebird Focus Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and 暗礁助手 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
暗礁助手 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bluebird Focus Timer has 627 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Bluebird Focus Timer's written reviews are positive against 43% of 暗礁助手's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Bluebird Focus Timer ships an update fortnightly, 暗礁助手 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
