Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Party Fun at none against POPS's shown. POPS's advantage is ratings volume (840 vs 27) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. POPS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Party Fun sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for POPS against 4.4 for Party Fun. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POPS has 840 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 35% of POPS's written reviews are positive against 29% of Party Fun's.
POPS ships an update monthly, Party Fun every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
