Memcached and Redis both are powerfull in-memory data stores, but Redis is more stronger! Redis can do the same jobs as memcached can, and can do them better. As the most popular key-value stores, The most common client for Redis is the command line tool, But command-line mode is not intuitive and does not apply to the iPhone.
