A target gradient. A set of colour sliders. One number out of 100 that tells you how close you got. Descent is a quiet test of colour perception. You read a gradient, move RGB, HSB or CMYK sliders until yours matches, and see the two side by side with a score. Nothing else on the canvas but colour. CASUAL Untimed matching with no pressure. Pick RGB, HSB or CMYK and take as long as you like. DESCENT Timed levels that tighten as you go. Each level gives you less time and demands a higher score. Your best level is recorded. MESH Drag the points of a 3x3 mesh to rebuild a multi-point mesh gradient. Harder than it looks, and strangely calming. SCORING Every round ends with a score out of 100 and a direct comparison of the target against yours, so you learn where your eye drifts: too warm, too dark, too much cyan. DESIGN Version 4.3 is a ground-up redesign. Pure white and ink, with colour reserved entirely for the gradients themselves. Liquid Glass controls on iOS 26, full light and dark mode, and alternate app icons. FREE AND PRO Free plays in every mode, refreshed each day. Descent Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the limits for good, with an optional tip jar if you want to support development. No subscription, no ads, no account. APPLE WATCH Play Casual and Descent in RGB and HSB on your wrist. Turn the Digital Crown to set each channel. Free tries, your best level and Pro carry over from your iPhone. WHAT'S NEW IN 4.3 A complete redesign in white and ink with Liquid Glass chrome on iOS 26. Mesh mode rebuilt to match the new look. Home cards now preview the exact gradient you are about to play. Redesigned Settings, Tip Jar and App Icons. Made by indie developer Rudrank Riyam. Formerly Gradient Game. Open a gradient and see how close you get.
