Opened an app without thinking? Give yourself a moment to choose what happens next. PhoneAware helps you notice your phone habits, set daily app limits, and make space for more intentional use. UNDERSTAND YOUR SCREEN TIME See where your time goes with private daily and weekly reports inside the app. Screen Time reports and daily limits are free, with Screen Time permission. SET LIMITS THAT LEAVE YOU IN CONTROL Choose a daily time limit for selected apps. When you reach it, keep the app blocked or choose to unblock it until midnight. ADD A PAUSE WITH PREMIUM Schedule Mindful Pauses for the apps, days, and times you choose. Take a breath, then decide whether to continue or leave it for now. Customize the pause duration to suit you. Premium is a one-time purchase for lifetime access to scheduled pauses. Pauses require a personal automation in Apple Shortcuts. Your selected app opens first, then the automation brings PhoneAware forward for the pause. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your Screen Time data stays on your device. No account required. FEATURE AVAILABILITY Usage widgets, Live Activities, and saved usage comparisons require enhanced Screen Time access: your device must be in the EU and your Apple Account country or region must also be in the EU. Premium does not unlock this access. A small pause. A choice that's yours.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: PhoneAware at none against Cloud Battery's shown. PhoneAware also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Cloud Battery's advantage is device support (5 vs 2) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.4). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
