iDev Plus vs RBIDATA

i-Dev Plus is an action learning based development journey delivered on a mobile device. It focuses on the completion of the 70% component of the 70-20-10 model of development, which is on-the-job learning. In this program the action learning part of the IDP is broken down into interesting actions delivered in a micro/byte size-format through the mobile app. These actions are tracked through the IDP tracker by the learner’s manager also via the Mobile App, ensuring high adherence to the program. i-Dev Plus can be customized to a company’s competency framework or can complement the existing leadership training initiatives, workshops or e-learning programs (which largely focuses on the 10% of the 70-20-10 model).

One of the main purposes of RBIDATA app is to provide time series data on aggregates in a flexible and reusable format for analytical inputs on policy matters and for research and analysis purpose. Subject area and periodicity wise item series data pertaining to Indian Economy are presented in the RBIDATA. The app also contains SAARCFINANCE database. DBIE data can be downloaded and saved for further processing and analysis. The Reserve Bank of India has long history of compiling and disseminating large volume of macro economical and financial sector data for researchers, market participants, and various other stakeholders. In addition to traditional channels such as data publication, reports, press-releases etc. the Bank has also set up public website like "Database on Indian Economy" (DBIE) for data dissemination.
