About

Tactile Calculator

Features

Tactile is the calculator where every number keeps its formula. With Replay you send a bill to whoever has to pay it: they see every line recalculated, even without the app, and can redo it by changing a number. - - - - - - - - - - REPLAY: MATH YOU CAN REDO • Tap REPLAY on the tape: every line keeps its full formula, not just the result • Lines stay linked: if line 3 uses the total of line 1, change one number and everything recalculates • Share a link via Messages, WhatsApp or Mail: the recipient sees every line recalculated on their own phone, even without Tactile, and spots right away if something doesn't add up • With Tactile installed the link opens in the app: they fix it ("I didn't have dessert") and send it back Free forever: create, share, receive, edit and send back Replays, and keep 3 saved. Replay Pro, a one-time purchase with no subscription: unlimited saved Replays searchable by name and date, duplicate bills as templates, export to CSV. - - - - - - - - - - MATH YOU CAN CHECK • Multi-line display: see the full expression, not just the last digit • Paper tape: your last 100 calculations, grouped by day, with chained operations written out in full • Search the tape by expression, result or note • Double tap a calculation to annotate it ("office supplies", "VAT") • Subtotal: select several lines, add them up, send the total back to the keypad • Share the tape as an image via Messages, Mail or WhatsApp • Parentheses and operator precedence, nested as deep as you need - - - - - - - - - - CURRENCY AND UNIT CONVERTER • 30 currencies on European Central Bank reference rates, published every business day • Next to the ECB tag you see the reference date of the rates in use; the app rechecks them every 4 hours • Works offline using the last saved update • 28 units across 5 categories: length, weight, temperature, volume, speed • The number on the display is converted as you type it The converter is an optional module, available as a one-time purchase. - - - - - - - - - - TIP AND SPLIT • Presets at 10, 15, 18, 20%, or 5, 25 or 30% with OTHER • Split across up to 20 people, with the share per person • SEND turns the split bill into a Replay: whoever gets it sees bill, tip and share per person recalculated • Tip and total always visible on the LCD sub-display - - - - - - - - - - PRICE COMPARE • Put two products side by side, by price and quantity • Tactile works out the cost per unit and marks the better deal • It shows how much you save in percent, right there in the aisle - - - - - - - - - - SCIENTIFIC AND MEMORIES • sin, cos, tan, ln, log, e^x, √, x², x^y, 1/x • Context-aware percent: 200 − 15% gives 170, not 199.85 • Three independent memories M1, M2, M3 with LED indicators • Extended keypad in landscape, hardware keyboard supported on Mac and over Bluetooth - - - - - - - - - - BUILT FOR THUMBS • LCD display with ghost digits: the unlit segments stay visible, like on real displays • Distinct haptic feedback for numbers, operators and equals • Tap the display to copy, double tap to paste • Quick Actions from the Home Screen • 7 themes: one included, the others as single purchases or as a bundle - - - - - - - - - - PRIVACY No account. No ads. No tracking. Your tape, notes, memories and saved Replays are stored on your device only — Tactile never sends them anywhere. A Replay leaves your phone only when you share it, inside the link: the page that opens it recalculates it in the browser without sending it to any server. The only network request the app makes is for exchange rates, and only if you unlocked the converter. - - - - - - - - - - Every purchase is one-time. No subscriptions.
