Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: WIAA Live at 211 against Sehome Mariners's 3. WIAA Live also leads on chart position (#201 vs unranked). Sehome Mariners's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WIAA Live holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WIAA Live has 211 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of WIAA Live's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sehome Mariners's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WIAA Live ships an update fortnightly, Sehome Mariners monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
