TeacherEase vs School Tag

This app is a companion to TeacherEase, a SaaS platform for schools and districts to track and securely share student data. It allows admins and teachers to view and modify TeacherEase data on your iOS device. You must already have a TeacherEase account to use the app. You’ll notice the app has diverged from our existing website functionality. Its unique workflow is our first release of mobile-specific functionality for admins and teachers. It is not available through our web service. This app is for admins and teachers. We offer a separate app for parents and students, which may be found here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/teacherease/id1232341133

School Tag - Parent puts you in complete control of your child's school day — from the moment they arrive to the second they're dismissed. Designed for today's busy families, School Tag - Parent connects directly to your child's school dismissal system so you're always informed, always prepared, and never left wondering. Whether your child rides the bus, walks home, gets picked up by a caregiver, or goes to daycare, you set the plan — and the school follows it. Real-Time Dismissal Alerts Receive instant notifications the moment your child is scanned during dismissal. No more sitting in the car loop wondering what's taking so long. You'll know exactly when your child is on the move. Bus Stop Reporting Know exactly when and where your child gets off the bus. School Tag - Parent logs each bus drop-off event so you have a clear, time-stamped record — giving you peace of mind from the moment the school day ends to the moment your child walks through your door. Bus Route Tracking Follow your child's bus route on an interactive map. See the planned route at a glance so you always know what to expect — and can plan pickup or arrival around it with confidence. Live bus tracking is coming soon, bringing real-time location updates directly to your screen. Flexible Dismissal Planning Life changes — and School Tag changes with it. Set your child's default dismissal mode (bus rider, walker, car rider, or daycare) and update it anytime. Need to make a same-day change? Done in seconds. Early Release Scheduling Doctor's appointment? Family commitment? Schedule an early release directly from the app. Select your child, choose the date and time, and provide a reason — the school gets notified automatically. Digital Absence Notes No more hunting for paper, writing notes by hand, or hoping the teacher gets the message. Submit absence notes digitally, attach a photo of a doctor's note if needed, and track whether the school has read and acknowledged it — all from your phone. School Responses in the App Schools can reply directly to your absence submissions. You'll see their response right inside the app, keeping communication organized and in one place. Built for Canadian and American Families School Tag - Parent serves schools across the United States and Canada. Canadian families can use the app in English or French. Secure by Design Your family's information is protected with industry-standard encryption and secure authentication. Your account stays private — only you can access your children's information. School Tag - Parent is the companion app for schools using the School Tag dismissal management platform. A School Tag account linked to your child's school is required.
