FDS Remote Timer vs RaceTorch

Remote Timer has been designed to be used when the distance between a timing gate and the timing center is above the range of radio transmission. This app will send all timestamps generated by a TBox to our Cloud server (either via a timing session or via a WebResult competition ID). Those timeStamps can be retrieved either by SmartChrono, by another Remote Timer app (in Receive mode) or by a computer using the dedicated "FDS Timing Server Interface" PC application.

Race Torch is an AI tool for running events, utilizing computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies. It has the following features. 1. Real-time capture of event footage and real-time tracking of every runner in the footage. 2. Real-time identification of the race bib worn by the runner, compatible with most fonts and styles of race bibs. 3. Identifying the runner's gender based on body type and attire, rather than facial recognition. 4. Saving images of the runners from the footage, making it easy to search and review. 5. Support for switching between multiple cameras, and convenient control of camera focus and shooting range. 6. Supports high-speed video recording at 100, 120, 180, 200, and 240 fps. 7. Video import function, allowing extraction of runner data from existing videos. 8. Does not use facial recognition technology, respecting the privacy of runners. 9. Event management by project, making it easy to reference later. 10. All Al calculations are performed on the phone, so the software does not require an internet connection while running. 11.
