Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: sp8cetime at 90 against 亦卦's 4. sp8cetime also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). 亦卦's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 10 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. sp8cetime sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and 亦卦 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
亦卦 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sp8cetime has 90 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of sp8cetime's written reviews are positive against 93% of 亦卦's.
sp8cetime ships an update every 10 months, 亦卦 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
