Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: ASH Bazar at every 2 days against StringNThread's every 4 months. StringNThread's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ASH Bazar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StringNThread has 32 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
StringNThread ships an update every 4 months, ASH Bazar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
