Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Agilio Pro at 5.0 against Shearer's 4.6. Agilio Pro also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 18 months). Shearer's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Agilio Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shearer has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Shearer ships an update every 18 months, Agilio Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
