Earth Memory: Explore the Real World. Uncover Your Map The world is huge. How much of it will you explore in your lifetime? Open Earth Memory and turn real-world exploration into a game. Walk down a street, cross a park, climb a mountain—your GPS tracks are recorded and added to your personal exploration map. With the new Fog of Discovery mode, the real world becomes a map waiting for you to uncover it. Unexplored areas stay hidden beneath the fog. The only way to reveal them is to actually go there. Walk, run, cycle, travel or hike. Discover places you have never been and gradually uncover your own map of the world. • Fog of Discovery: Explore the real world like a game Open the map and see how much of the world is still waiting to be discovered. Step into an unexplored neighborhood and watch the fog disappear as you move. It could be a street you have never walked before, a hidden path, or a corner near home you have always overlooked. Every time you go outside can become a new adventure. • Record your exploration tracks Turn your iPhone into your personal GPS tracker. Start recording and Earth Memory will capture your route and display it on your map. City walks, running, cycling, hiking, road trips, overseas travel or your daily commute—every journey can become part of the world you have explored. • See how much of Earth you have explored How much of the world have you actually explored? Earth Memory calculates the percentage of Earth's surface you have explored based on your recorded journeys. Start around your home, then expand from one street to an entire city, a country and beyond. The world is enormous. Your map lights up one step at a time. • Exploration Levels: More motivation to go outside Discover new areas and level up your explorer profile. Earth Memory is not just about how far you travel. It encourages you to actually visit places you have never been before. Take a different route home. Walk down an unfamiliar street. Visit a park you have never explored this weekend. Turn an ordinary walk into an exploration game. • GPX file management Your tracks belong to you. View previous tracks, export GPX files, share routes, edit and manage track files, or import GPX files recorded by other devices. Already have tracks from a sports watch, outdoor GPS device or another app? Import your GPX files and bring your past and future journeys together in one place. • Your tracks stay on your device Your location history and travel routes are personal. Track files are stored locally on your device. You can export, move or delete your GPX files whenever you want. Deleting a track file will not affect the exploration area or player level you have already earned. Your footsteps. Your map. Your journey. How many streets in your city have you never walked? How much of your hometown have you truly explored? And how much of the world will you see in your lifetime? Open Earth Memory, step outside and watch the fog disappear from your map.
