Versta is een live-ondertitel-app voor situaties waarin verstaan moeilijk is: een druk café, een feest, een straat met verkeer, een gesprek met iemand die slechthorend is. WERKT ZOALS JOUW BREIN WERKT Slechthorende mensen verstaan losse woorden slechter dan hele zinnen. Versta werkt op precies die manier: hele zinnen worden veel beter in tekst omgezet dan losse woorden. ONDERSTEBOVEN ONTWERP De tekst staat 180° gedraaid: jij houdt je iPhone ondersteboven, met de microfoon zo dicht bij je mond als mogelijk, en de persoon tegenover je leest de tekst rechtop. OP TWEE MANIEREN TE GEBRUIKEN 1. Ondertitel iemand anders: richt de onderkant van je iPhone naar de spreker, lees mee wat hij of zij zegt. 2. Ondertitel jezelf: houd je iPhone vlak onder je mond, je gespreksgenoot leest mee. Handig in lawaaiige settings of als je tegen een slechthorende vriend of collega praat. TEKST OP MAAT Knijp of spreid op het scherm om de tekst kleiner of groter te maken. Bij grote tekst kantelt de boodschap automatisch zodat de volle hoogte van het scherm wordt gebruikt. Ideaal om op grotere afstand een complimentje of korte vraag aan iemand te tonen, bijvoorbeeld aan een DJ achter de booth.
