Verdict
Stack Up and Juice Run both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Stack Up's written reviews are positive against 51% of Juice Run's. Stack Up also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Juice Run's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 129) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stack Up sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Juice Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Stack Up against 4.5 for Juice Run. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Juice Run has 2.8K ratings behind it against 129, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Stack Up's written reviews are positive against 51% of Juice Run's.
Stack Up ships an update every 2 months, Juice Run every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
