Measure distances simply and accurately on your Apple Watch, without starting a workout. Yardstik tracks the distance you travel and keeps your last 25 measurements with a map of each route. Open-Ended Measurement Tap Start and Yardstik measures the distance until you tap End. With double tap gestures, you can start, pause, resume, and end a measurement without touching the screen. Set Distance Choose a target distance and Yardstik gives you audio and haptic feedback the moment you reach it. Interval Mode Turn on Interval Mode to get audio and haptic feedback each time you cover a particular distance. History and Routes Yardstik keeps your last 25 measurements on your watch. Tap a measurement to see its route on a map, along with the straight-line distance and the elevation change. Start Faster Add the Start Measuring control to Control Center, the Smart Stack, or the Action button. Yardstik opens and starts measuring as soon as the watch obtains your location. You can also say “Start measuring in Yardstik” to Siri, or add the Yardstik widget to your watch face. Privacy Your measurements and routes stay on your Apple Watch. Yardstik doesn’t collect any data. Yardstik is perfect for workout route planning, interval or recurring distance training, pacing out distances, and any outdoor activity where distance measurement is needed. Yardstik needs an accurate GPS location to begin measuring, so it works best outdoors with a clear view of the sky. The Start Measuring control, widget, and Siri phrase require watchOS 26 or later. Double tap and the Action button are available on supported models.
