Both are free to download. BD Plus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and VPNSix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
VPNSix holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPNSix has 7.9K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of BD Plus's written reviews are positive against 89% of VPNSix's.
BD Plus ships an update every 3 months, VPNSix every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
