Getac ESEP vs DataGarrison Utility

The Getac Embedded Service Enhancement Program (ESEP) is designed for Getac Hardware components, BIOS, EC firmware, software and driver diagnostics. ESEP will collect Getac product device data (e.g., AC plug insert/remove count, battery capacity, hard disk information, etc…) and send it to the Getac ESEP Server to determine if there is a potential issue and what software / drivers / FW are recommended to resolve/upgrade the system.

The DataGarrison Station Utility allows users to communicate over Bluetooth with stations in the field. Station status, sensor values, wireless signal strength, and more can be queried. The App can also change the data logging and server update rates. An Advanced page is available to update station firmware or to communicate with the station or connected sensors via raw ModBus, SDI-12, or modem AT commands. This App is compatible with all DataGarrison Stations (satellite and cellular) sold after August 7, 2023, or with earlier stations with the latest firmware and Bluetooth module. If you are unsure if your station has a compatible Bluetooth module, you can confirm by locating it in the lower-left corner of the station's main circuit board and to the left of the battery connector. Older stations without the latest module had nothing there.
