This application is used to communicate with EnvLoggers via NFC (near field communication). Users can configure missions, plot mission data and save them as CSV files to the iPhone's memory. They can also instantaneously share data. Data are saved as CSV files, which are human-readable and easily imported into R, MatLab, Excel or similar. EnvLoggers are contactless miniaturized temperature loggers. Their main features are: 1. They are sturdy, waterproof, and resistant to UV. Can withstand depths exceeding 500 meters. 2. Their battery life spans over 2 years (sampling at every hour). 3. The memory stores between 10k readings @ 0.1 ΒΊC resolution or 12k readings @ 0.5 ΒΊC resolution. Typically, 14k readings @ 0.1 ΒΊC resolution and 17k @ 0.5 ΒΊC resolution. For reference, 1 year of data at hourly resolution requires ~9K readings. Memory is non-volatile, meaning that data can be retrieved even after battery depletion. 4. The clock drift is of 50 ppm at most. 5. The temperature resolution is of 0.1 ΒΊC. Precision and accuracy are of at least 0.2 ΒΊC. 6. Because the NFC allows for communication at a range of a few cm, it is possible to embed the loggers in the rock and still communicate with them. Refer to www.electricblue.eu for more information. Note: EnvLogger Viewer needs NFC, thus only runs on iPhone 7 or later.

About

Man Overboard by PredictWind

Features

The Man Overboard (MOB) App requires a PredictWind Pro subscription per boat and DataHub Pro hardware. When someone goes overboard, hesitation costs lives. The Man Overboard App notifies the entire crew the instant a fall is detected - automatically, precisely, and without pressing a single button. How it works A fall overboard breaks the WiFi connection between the crew member's iPhone, Apple or Garmin Watch, and the boat's DataHub Pro. The app detects this instantly, marks the exact overboard location on your chartplotter, and fires an alert to the entire crew simultaneously. Key features AUTOMATIC MOB DETECTION Detection happens the moment the wifi connection is lost. INSTANT CHARTPLOTTER MARKING The exact GPS coordinates are automatically set as a waypoint on your chartplotter the moment MOB is detected. CREW-WIDE ALERTS Every Apple or Garmin Watch and iPhone connected to your DataHub Pro receives the alert at the same time, so the entire crew can respond quickly. Works on Apple or Garmin Watch and iPhone. Get set up before you need it. Man Overboard Watch App runs silently in the background; no attention required, no action needed. Just protection that's there when it matters most. https://www.predictwind.com/about-us/terms-and-conditions https://www.predictwind.com/about-us/privacy-policy
