We believe you should own your genome. So we built Genomes.io. Genomes.io is a private and secure DNA data bank that puts you in full control of your genome. Using the Genomes.io Authenticator app, you control access to your DNA data that is securely stored inside your virtual DNA Vault. These vaults harness next-generation security technologies, which means even we, as a technology provider, can’t access your DNA data. You can choose to run specific genomic reports (e.g. personal traits, carrier status, health risks) on your data to learn more about yourself in a way that suits you best, without ever revealing this information to a third-party. But most importantly, you can give permission and anonymously share your DNA data directly with researchers that need it most. You receive full transparency on how your data will be accessed, the research it will be used in, and you can even earn by doing so! View a history of how your data has been accessed in the Actions tab. A ledger of your earnings in the Wallet tab. And configure how you want to share data in the Settings tab. The more data you decide to share, the more you will earn. We’ll make sure doing so always ensures full data privacy, security and ownership. OUR STORY Your DNA is not yours, until now. Data sharing is fundamental to powering the data-driven economy we live in. And DNA data is the next big thing. Your DNA is powerful. Scientists desperately and increasingly need access to DNA data to supercharge medical research and innovation, as we move into a future where healthcare is tailored specifically to you. Your DNA is valuable. Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies spend tens of millions of dollars accessing large genomic databases for research and development purposes - a industry trend set to skyrocket as true personalised medicine becomes a reality. However, DNA data is different. Your genome is the biological blueprint that makes you, you. It is the most comprehensive and sensitive piece of personal information you will ever have. It is uniquely yours, and is by definition, personally identifiable. This coupled with the fact it is potentially highly exploitable and cannot be changed, means it must be treated differently to other data. Genomes.io addresses privacy, security and ownership concerns of DNA testing and sharing. By doing so, we aim to build the world’s largest user-owned genomic data bank and secure the future of personalised medicine.

Footing shows how you walk and how you think, using the phone you already carry. No wearable required. No blood draw. No clinic visit. Short walks and quick brain tests, on your own schedule, build a picture of your mobility and your thinking, tracked over time. Free to use. No subscription required to start. See how you move and think. WHAT YOU SEE Mobility Age: the age whose typical pace, stride and steadiness match your recent walks. It is built from about four walks. Cognitive Age: the age whose typical response speed and memory match your recent tests. It is built from about ten tests of Symbol Match and Sequence Recall; the first three of each are practice and do not count. Each age comes with a range, which narrows as you keep testing, so small changes are not overstated. Your signature: from your very first test, how your latest results compare with your own usual. A shape and one sentence, never a number. WHAT IT MEASURES From your walks: Pace: your walking speed Stride: your step length Steadiness: how consistent your steps are Symmetry: the balance between left and right steps Turn: how quickly you turn around Efficiency: how regular your movement is while you walk From four short tests (Symbol Match, Sequence Recall, Tap Rhythm, Typing Burst): Reaction: how quickly you respond Precision: how accurately you respond Attention: how consistent your response time is Memory: how long a sequence you can recall Timing: how steady your tap rhythm is Fluency: how quickly you type in a short burst HOW IT WORKS Walk. Put your phone in your pocket and choose a 30-second walk, a 40-step walk, or a walk with a turn. Start one whenever you want. There is no fixed schedule. Think. Four short tasks, also on demand. Health. A Daily Question: five quick questions on how you feel, your energy, sleep, steadiness and focus, so you can see how you felt alongside your results. And an optional Health Intake on your history and lifestyle, saved as you go. Daily walking. If you allow health access, footing reads one daily walking summary from Apple Health: walking speed, step length, asymmetry, double support, steps, and distance. Apple Health derives these from your iPhone. Apple Watch. The optional Apple Watch app captures arm swing during a walk. Results arrive within seconds. See them in the app or on the web at app.footinghealth.com. SHARING Invite a family member or someone you trust to see your results. They accept a short sharing agreement before they can see anything, and you can end their access at any time. Sign in with Apple, Google, a passkey, or your email and a password. RESEARCH You can choose to contribute your measurements to research. It is opt-in only. You grant consent in Settings and can withdraw it there at any time. Without that consent, nothing goes to research. If you opt in, the data is de-identified. No name, email, or device. Dates are shifted. You are described only by age in years, sex, and broad height and weight bands. Only computed measurements are shared, never recordings. WHY IT MATTERS Walking speed has been called the sixth vital sign. Mobility and thinking tend to change gradually, which makes the changes easy to miss. A short, repeatable measurement shows where you stand today and how that compares with your own history. YOUR DATA Your walk recordings are stored on our servers, encrypted, so your results can be rescored as our scoring improves. You can delete your account in the app under Settings, or email hello@footinghealth.com. You must be 18 or older to use footing. Footing is a general wellness app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or predict any disease. Footing is made by Carova Labs, LLC. footinghealth.com
