Verdict
The clearest difference is price: ST at Free against iFTx's $1.99. ST also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). iFTx's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 27 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

ST is free to download; iFTx costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ST holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFTx has 70 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ST's written reviews are positive against 72% of iFTx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ST ships an update every 27 months, iFTx every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
