Start your experience by selecting the type of account you would like - anything from a beauty guru to a fitness model, or even a viral sensation. After the set up, you get 15 minutes to experience the life of a social media star! There's so much you can do: chat with your fans via your inbox; receive comments, likes and followers; and post your own photos to create a personalized feed. Once your time is up, you can start over with a different account type (each type provides a slightly different experience). The environment is completely controlled, and all of your data is safe, only ever stored on your own device (we do not store ANY data, including photos you upload, what you say to your "fans", search terms, profile data etc). We are not affiliated with any other social media platform. In fact, we are not a social media platform at all. This app is merely a parody on the concept of social media fame, and serves the purpose of educating people about how digital fame feels. We hope that after using our app, people will recognize that the important thing is not the number of likes they got, but the people they engaged with and the content they created. https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

SummerProof will help you find what to do during the summer. You can challenge your friends by doing activities and gaining points, however, there is a catch: everything that you do requires a photo as proof [PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!] The goal is to complete as many activities as possible during the summer and send your album to your friends as proof. The winner is the person with the most points. Some activities give more points than others, ranging from 10 to 50 points. If you complete three consecutive activities, you earn bonus points. Features: - Add photos or make a collage to prove an activity - Set a prize and all the participants before starting the challenge - Edit the hashtags in the album page - View photos in full size in the album page - Share your album as PDF with anyone* - No subscriptions - No ads We will update the app regularly to offer new challenges when the summer challenge is over. SummerProof is free to download and features marked with a star (*) require the premium version, an optional one-time purchase.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: SummerProof at 100% against Fame Simulator's 62%. SummerProof also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.5) and ads (none vs shown). Fame Simulator's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (203 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fame Simulator has 203 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Fame Simulator's written reviews are positive against 100% of SummerProof's.
Fame Simulator ships an update every 9 days, SummerProof every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
