Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TradComics at 5.0 against WebToon Reader's 4.4. TradComics also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). WebToon Reader's advantage is ratings volume (31 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WebToon Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TradComics asks for nothing beyond the download.
TradComics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebToon Reader has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
WebToon Reader ships an update every 3 weeks, TradComics every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
