ProDevice vs Aktion eCard

The ProDevice application manages data media throughout their lifecycle in accordance with the highest security standards. It is designed for users who want complete documentation of the degaussing, destruction, and inventory processes. The application is compatible with the following ProDevice products: • ProDevice ASM120 degausser (Basic and Professional): serial number scanning, reporting. • ProDevice ASM240 Basic degausser: serial number scanning, reporting. • ProDevice ASM240 degausser (Professional and Ultimate) with serial numbers starting with 09EADC: serial number scanning, photographing degaussed media, recording the degaussing process, reporting. ASM240 degaussers (Professional and Ultimate) manufactured after the third quarter of 2025 with serial numbers starting with "ASM240" are supported by the cross-platform ProDevice HUB application. • ProDevice shredders: serial number scanning, reporting; • ProDevice data media transport and storage systems: serial number scanning, reporting. The scanning function gives you the ability to read the barcodes from different carriers – you can easily adjust the scanner to the type of code. Serial numbers, photos and videos of the processes carried out, are exported to a report that the user can download to a mobile device or share directly from the application.

The Aktion eCard application is used to open doors and identify them on the Bluetooth sensors of the Aktion system using a mobile phone.
