Practice reading the serve before you take your first step. Split Step Volleyball is a 3D volleyball reception practice app for iPhone. Watch the server from a receiver's point of view, read the ball's direction and practice your split-step timing. Start with the free standing-float drill. You can train with or without the camera. One serve at a time Follow guided training and move in response to the simulated serve. After each ball, the app shows its direction: left or right. Start the next ball when you're ready. In free practice, you can turn on optional visual coaching cues and sound cues, adjust your view and zoom in on the server. Review your own movement With optional camera recording, replay your movement alongside the same simulated serve. Watch in slow motion, pause or seek to compare the timing yourself. Split Step does not automatically track or assess your body. Recordings stay temporarily in device memory. They are not uploaded or saved permanently. A new recording replaces the previous replay; closing or reloading the app discards it. No microphone audio is recorded. Free base training, optional Pro Practice unlimited standing-float serves in the base reception formation. Camera recording, synchronized replay and slow motion are included for free. Split Step Pro is an optional one-time In-App Purchase. It unlocks all three serve types (standing float, jump float and topspin jump) and all six reception formations, plus random selections and practice presets. There is no subscription. Restore Purchases is available in Settings > Split Step Pro. Practice offline Training works locally, with no account required and no ads. App Store purchases, restoring purchases and email support require internet access. Built for iPhone in landscape orientation. The interface is available in English, German and Spanish. Set up your phone securely and leave enough clear space to move. The simulation is a practice aid, not a substitute for a qualified coach.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Split Step Volleyball at none against DelayCam's shown. Split Step Volleyball also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
