About

BiteRight

Features

BiteRight helps you quickly check whether foods may contain gluten. Take a photo of a meal, scan a menu, or paste ingredients to get a clear gluten-risk guide in seconds. Access to scans and analysis requires starting a BiteRight subscription. All plans include a 3-day free trial with unlimited scans. BiteRight is designed as a convenience tool, especially for people who avoid gluten due to coeliac disease, gluten intolerance, or personal preference. It does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Three ways to check for gluten • Plate scan (cloud) Snap a photo of your meal. BiteRight uses AI to highlight ingredients and preparation details that may involve gluten, with stricter checks in Coeliac Safe Mode. • Menu & label scan Use your camera to scan restaurant menus or ingredient labels. The app reads the text and analyzes it for gluten-related risks. • Text check Paste ingredient lists or dish descriptions to get a quick risk assessment. All scanning and analysis features require a subscription. A 3-day free trial with unlimited scans is included. Coeliac Safe Mode Set your profile to gluten-intolerant, suspected coeliac, or diagnosed coeliac. Coeliac Safe Mode tightens risk rules for things like shared fryers, soy-sauce marinades, malt, oats, and cross-contamination. Available with a subscription. Chef cards in multiple languages Show restaurants a chef card explaining your gluten needs in clear, translated language. BiteRight includes cards for coeliac and gluten-intolerant users in multiple languages to help you eat more confidently while travelling. Available with a subscription. Important Disclaimer BiteRight does not certify any food as safe or gluten-free, and it does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. Assessments are: - Based on what can be seen in a photo or read from text/barcodes - Influenced by common cuisine patterns - Limited by the quality and completeness of the information provided Always double-check with packaging, restaurant staff, and your medical team if you require strict gluten avoidance (for example, in coeliac disease). Subscription A BiteRight subscription is required to access scans and analysis. All plans include a 3-day free trial with unlimited scans. Available plans: Weekly Plan – $1.99 / week Monthly Plan – $5.99 / month Annual Plan – $49.99 / year (best value) All plans include a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
