Sepsis can lead to shock, multiple organ failure and death if it is not recognised early and treated effectively. The Sepsis Challenge is a powerful educational game that uses colourful graphics to highlight the early signs of sepsis, key facts and figures plus advice on what to do if you suspect someone has sepsis. It was developed in partnership with Health Education England and e-Learning for Healthcare to help frontline staff in health and social care respond more effectively to sepsis. The alarming figures highlight the need to ensure our healthcare staff have the tools to help them spot signs and ensure patients are treated quickly.
