The International Public Policy Association (IPPA) is the world’s leading organization in the field of Public Policy. It was established in December 2014 following the unexpected success of the first International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP1) held in Grenoble. Since then, the Association has launched several initiatives, including the International Workshops on Public Policy, which are organized biennially, alternating with the ICPP. After three successful editions—first in Pittsburgh in 2018 (IWPP1), then in Budapest in 2022 (ICPP3), and again in Guadalajara in 2024 (IWPP4), attracting over 300 participants from around the globe—the fifth edition of the International Workshops on Public Policy is set to return to North America. This upcoming edition will be the first to be held in Canada and is co-organized with Carleton University in Ottawa. It will take place from July 6 to 8, 2026. An app will be available to help attendees navigate the workshop sessions, receptions, venue, and to receive updates during the event.
