Brain Code is a command-line-inspired puzzle game. Read a level, type a command, and use the response to work out what to try next. It’s a game about clues and logic, not a coding lesson. Explore 50 handcrafted levels. Some clues ask you to think beyond the obvious answer. No programming experience is needed: curiosity and careful observation are enough to begin. If you get stuck, optional in-game hints can give you a nudge. You can also leave a puzzle and return to it later. The levels can be played offline. Ready to try a different way of thinking? Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Riddles at 5.0 against Brain Code's 4.6. Riddles also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Brain Code's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Brain Code sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Riddles sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Riddles holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain Code has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Brain Code ships an update monthly, Riddles every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
