The Underline AR APP vs AAIMS

The Underline is transforming the underutilized land below Miami’s MetroRail spanning 10 miles from the Miami River to Dadeland South Station, into a 120-acre linear park, world-class urban trail and public art destination. The Underline will connect communities, improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, create over 120 acres of open space with restored natural habitats, encourage a healthy lifestyle, provide an easily accessible place to exercise, create a multi-modal mobility corridor that integrates transit, car, biking and walking, inspire with public art, health and wellness and cultural programming and provide an economic return on investment The Underline Visual App allows the user to visualize two areas of phase 1 of the park, Brickell Backyard, through mobile AR technology: The Promenade and The Gym. The project was developed by the Miami Animation & Gaming International Complex at Miami Dade College in collaboration with The Friends of The Underline.
