Money Cells teaches kids ages 6–12 how saving and compound interest work — through a living petri dish where every dollar is a cell. WHAT KIDS LEARN Every cell you save multiplies into two next round — that's compound interest, happening in real time. Every cell you spend disappears forever. Kids experience these cause-and-effect relationships viscerally, not abstractly. HOW IT WORKS - Start with a petri dish full of living cells (each cell = $1) - Watch the countdown — save your cells and they split into two! - Spend wisely on wish goals, or resist Flash Deals - Fill your Resistance Meter to earn bonus cells - Graduate colonies and build a dynasty of savings ASK CELLIE Cellie is your in-game science buddy. Ask her anything about cells, saving, compound interest, or Flash Deals — she explains everything at a kid-friendly level. Kids can even snap a photo of something they want to buy and ask "Is this worth it?" and Cellie will help them think it through. SET REAL SAVINGS GOALS Kids can set goals for real toys and games. When they save enough cells, the app generates an Amazon link so they can tell a parent — turning in-game savings into a real-world reward. FOR PARENTS A parent dashboard shows session summaries, quiz progress, saving trends, and conversation starters to extend the learning beyond the app. Set session durations, choose saving rates, and track your child's progress across colonies. THE SCIENCE CONNECTION Every mechanic in Money Cells connects to real concepts: - Cells splitting = compound interest - Spending cells = opportunity cost - Flash Deals = impulse buying - Resistance Meter = delayed gratification - Colony graduation = generational wealth No ads. No in-app purchases required. Just genuine financial education wrapped in a game kids actually want to play.
