Rhythmic is a guided daily prayer app. Six practices, in the same order every day, so the deciding is done before you sit down. Minimal design to keep the focus on scripture and your conversation and time with God. Presence — God is already here. Scripture — read or listen slowly. Intimacy — tell Him who He is before you ask Him for anything. Interaction — say the honest thing, not the tidy one. Intercession — carry the people near you. Surrender — one thing to let go of. Three lengths: eighteen minutes, thirty-one, or forty-eight. All six practices run in every one of them. Short is not a lesser practice, only a shorter one. THE TIMER IS ADVISORY A movement that runs over is never cut off. The ring warms and waits. Nothing moves on while a voice is still speaking or a chapter is still being read, and you can turn the timer off entirely. NOTHING TO KEEP UP WITH No streaks. No badges. No levels. No score, and no notification that tells you that you have fallen behind. A missed day is a rest, not a broken chain — the record is there to be looked at, not kept up with. A day you missed can be prayed later, or left where it is. THE READING IS HERE The day's chapters are in the app, with a reading plan that follows the date rather than a queue you fall behind in. Read them, or have them read aloud. Highlight a verse and it stays on that verse whichever translation you switch to. OPTIONAL, ALL OF IT A voice to name each movement, and a longer guide to be led through one — in a man's voice or a woman's, with the words in the ring as they are spoken if you want to read along. Music under the reading. Reminders at a time you choose, worded so they never make you feel behind. WHAT YOU WRITE IS YOURS Prayer notes, requests and highlights are private, and they are never sold, shared or shown to anyone. The confession question is the exception, in the other direction: nothing you answer there is stored at all. Not on our servers, not on your phone. It is not a promise to forget — there is simply nothing written down. Any day can be sent to yourself by email, to keep or to print. Delete the account and everything under it goes with it, in one step, from inside the app. ALWAYS FREE No ads. No subscription. No in-app purchases. Not a trial, and not free for now. Bible translations NIV, NASB, NLT, MSG, and BSB. NIV and BSB audio Bibles to listen.
