Aplikacja Tim(E)xcellence App to specjalne narzędzie badawcze wykorzystywane w projekcie pt.” Znaczenie perspektyw czasowych dla dynamiki stanów afektywnych, motywacji i poziomu wykonania w sporcie: Weryfikacja modelu teoretycznego”. Pomysłodawcą i organizatorem projektu jest zespół psychologów z Wydziału Psychologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, który prowadzi badanie dotyczące wpływu perspektyw czasowych na wykonanie sportowe.  Głównym celem projektu jest sprawdzenie, jak poszczególne perspektywy czasowe (myślenie o przeszłości, teraźniejszości i przyszłości) mogą wpływać na funkcjonowanie sportowców. W szczególności, dokładnie zbadany zostanie ich wpływ na poziom oraz jakość motywacji, dokładność realizacji planu treningowego oraz funkcjonowanie emocjonalne, zarówno przed zawodami sportowymi, jak i po nich. TimExcellence App umożliwia pomiar powyższych zmiennych związanych z przygotowaniami do zawodów – zarówno pod kątem psychologicznym, jak i fizycznym.
