Verdict

The call

TOKEN2 NFC Burner and NFC Commander both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of NFC Commander's written reviews are positive against 40% of TOKEN2 NFC Burner's. NFC Commander also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). TOKEN2 NFC Burner's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 34 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NFC Commander sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TOKEN2 NFC Burner asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

TOKEN2 NFC Burner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NFC Commander has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of TOKEN2 NFC Burner's written reviews are positive against 100% of NFC Commander's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

TOKEN2 NFC Burner ships an update every 6 months, NFC Commander every 34 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
