Anti Pong turns the classic paddle game around. You're the paddle, and getting hit is how you lose. Your paddle is made of bricks. Every ball that hits it knocks one out, so you spend each match moving out of the way. Keep your bricks longer than the other side and you win. Play the computer on Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert, or play a friend on the same phone or iPad, each of you on your own half of the screen. Choose how you want to play: the classic game, balls that disappear between bounces, paddles that fade out, or a busy game full of balls and power-ups. Power-ups float out from the middle of the screen, and you grab one by moving into it. Some help you, like a shield or a brick that grows back. Others make things harder for the other side. Every match earns tokens. Spend them on new paint for your paddle and on different balls, trails and arenas. You can earn everything just by playing. Also: - Works with game controllers and keyboards - Drag to move, or have the paddle follow your finger, and you can play on the right side - Music, sound effects and vibration each have their own switch - Game Center leaderboard and achievements - Plays offline, with no account. Your progress stays on your device. Anti Pong is free. You'll sometimes see an ad between matches, never during one. A one-time purchase turns ads off, and token packs are there if you'd like to skip ahead. Bought Anti Pong before it was free? Thank you. You won't see ads, and a special paint for your paddle is waiting for you. There's nothing to restore.

Verdict
Anti Pong and ArcadeBox both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Anti Pong's written reviews are positive against 0% of ArcadeBox's. Anti Pong also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 12 months). ArcadeBox's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On rating, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
