Personality Scope

Your boss at work. The junior in your club. The parent you see at pickup. That relative you have known for years — you see them all the time, but do you really know what they are like? Personality Scope is a tool for looking at the people around you and seeing what makes them who they are. It is not fortune-telling. From a birth date plus a short personality questionnaire and a few preferences, it builds a personal "user manual" for that person. What makes it different from other personality apps: it does not stop at one person. The manuals you collect become a map of everyone around you. [ONLY IN THIS APP] Scope Map — your whole circle as one star chart The people you have added spread out like a night sky. Similar people sit close together, different ones further apart. Who clusters with whom, and who sits alone — you can finally see the shape of your workplace or your team in a single picture. And there is more than one ruler: switch between work (planning x sociability), daily life (warmth x steadiness) and ideas, and the same faces rearrange completely. Pinch to zoom, or turn your phone for full screen. Everyone's Role — your circle as a formation From the personalities you have collected, the app works out who plays which part in the group: the organizer, the spearhead, the idea person, the quiet backbone. One tap swaps those parts for well-known formations from Japanese warring-states history, the Three Kingdoms, or a sports lineup. Roles become something you can say in one line, and it makes good conversation. When position and personality do not line up Roles in a group are usually already decided, so what matters is not who is suited to what, but what to do about the roles you cannot change. Pick the position someone actually holds — director, accountant, captain, the one who keeps the mood up — and you will see the gap between that and where their personality points. Change your own position, and the answer changes too. A manual that grows It starts as a rough sketch from a birth date alone. Add the questionnaire, their preferences, and how you know them, and the "figured-out" meter rises as the manual sharpens. Like getting to know someone, this is something you grow. Connection Book — 60 animals to collect A birth date decides one animal for each person. Your book fills in as you go, and unusual pairings with you are marked rare, with the reason why. [ALSO INSIDE] A personality core with a real basis Types are built on the Big Five, using public-domain items anyone can use. Not to pin anyone down, just to put it into words. Today Days when two people's rhythms line up, and who is easy to talk to today. People notes The day you met, what they like, their habits, gift ideas, anything worth remembering. Something to start with Overlay two personalities and preferences to suggest what you would both enjoy — meals, trips, things to do, work — and topics to talk about. [GOOD TO KNOW] - The same input always gives the same result, so it works as a lasting record. - Mostly multiple choice, about a minute. Made to be done together, phone in hand. - Grounded in the Big Five, a public-domain scale. A personality assessment, not fortune-telling. - What you enter is stored on your device. See the privacy policy. [WHO IT IS FOR] - You want your workplace or group to run a little more smoothly - You see people every day and realize you do not really know them - You want to remember the people you meet - You like personality types and collecting This app is a personality assessment and communication aid intended for entertainment. It is not a medical or clinical diagnosis.
