Combining fun sounds and activities, the BrailleBuzz™ App provides an introduction to braille, as well as teaching the skills necessary to perform basic activities for controlling the app, and identifying braille letters. The App provides the functionality of the original BrailleBuzz™ product, with the added electronic braille experience. While the BrailleBuzz™ App was designed especially for APH's Chameleon 20™ and Braille Trail Reader LE™ refreshable braille displays; it also works with any connected display.

This app offers interactive farm and forest adventures designed to train visual and fine motor skills. It's specifically tailored for children with visual impairments, including CVI, and those with motor skill challenges, providing engaging activities with simple controls and rewarding animations.

For the training of vision and fine motor skills; developed for children with visual and multiple disorders. Tailor-made for children with central visual impairment (CVI). Explore the adventure with animals on the farm and in the forest! It is so simple that even children with limited fine motor skills can control the game. Suitable both for children with visual disorders and for children with severe fine and gross motor skills impairments. KEY FEATURES THE ADVENTURE WITH ANIMALS ON THE FARM AND IN THE FOREST - Let's explore tasks with animals, groom the horse, feed the sheep. - Touch and find out what's hiding in the forest. TAILOR-MADE FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS - Children can touch the iPad display anywhere or just slap it – and they are rewarded with an interesting sound and animation of an animal. TRAINING OF VISUAL SKILLS - Bright colors, simple pictures, simple scenes - Images set against a black background. ATTRACTIVE SOUND DESIGN AND ANIMATIONS - Interesting sound and animations capture visual attention. WHITE FRAME can be set to distinctively demarcate the work surface of the tablet display. The SKILLS SECTION records the work of the child with the app. The SIMULATOR OF VISUAL DISORDERS enables adults to better understand how complicated the world is for children with visual disorders. The app was developed in cooperation with low vision specialists and experts in the field of early intervention. The authorship of the EDA PLAY TOM app belongs to the non-profit organization EDA cz, z.ú. and to the digital studio Sugar And Ketchup. The project is carried out with the support of the Czech Radio Foundation (Nadační fond Českého rozhlasu) from the Firefly (Světluška) fund, the ČEZ Foundation, and Dow.
