Saatli maarif takvimi, takvimden ziyade daha çok bir ansiklopedi niteliğinde olan temel bir başvuru aracıdır. Anadolu'da 'halk takvimi' olarak adlandırılan ve genellikle örf ve inanışlardan hareketle hazırlanan takvimde hıdırellez ve cemre gibi hadiselerden bahseder. Tasarım olarak ortasında günün tarihi sayısal bir biçimde verilir. İki yanında namaz vakitleri güneş, öğle, ikindi, akşam, yatsı, imsak diye sıralanır.
