Linggo makes communication accessible for people who have difficulty speaking. Linggo is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) platform that comprises 2 applications, Linggo Learner and Linggo Coach. Designed with a behaviour analytic perspective and created in collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Linggo incorporates evidence-based strategies to support the development of language, functional communication, speech and literacy skills (sight reading), while monitoring progress using data driven technology. The Linggo Learner app is intended for individuals who have difficulty or are unable to speak. The Linggo Coach app is intended for clinicians, care partners and parents who wish to monitor progress. Intuitive Interface Word finding is made easier when words appear based on personal context, relevance and grammatical order. Linggo Library With a robust library of over 4000 words with grammatical markers, users can create and add meaningful vocabulary to help the individual build their language skills. All images are licensed from TobiiDynavox. Language Trees (Communicator) Teach sentence structures through Language Trees. Whether you're just beginning with nouns or teaching subject-verb-object combinations, Linggo can be customized to grow with the Learner's language profile. Free Form Generative novel phrases and sentences in the moment and as needed. Use Linggo’s library or photos/images from your own device to spontaneously generate novel words, phrases and sentences. Quick Chat Functional communication is made easier with Quickchat. Phrases such as “I need the washroom.” “My way, please” and “Help me” can be expressed easily through a single tap. Transition to Text Linggo offers the Transition To Text feature which encourages the Learner to learn sight words rather than relying solely on pictures and symbols to communicate. When Transition To Text is enabled, the picture associated with the text fades or reduces in size over time, eventually disappearing to display the text (sight word) only. Transition to Speak Linggo offers the Transition to Speak feature which uses a time delay (1 to 10 seconds) to encourage the Learner to use their voice. When this feature is enabled, the word remains silent when selected - giving the Learner the opportunity to practice their speech. Coaches and Progress Reports The support and feedback of Coaches are critical and mandatory components for the success of AAC intervention - which is why we included Coaches as active users too. Coaches collect data on Learner’s communication, which is then graphed across progress reports to help make evidence informed decisions. As an authorized BACB ACE provider, Linggo offers training/education to clinicians, parents and anyone interested in learning more. ** Learner accounts can be accessed through iPads/iPhones that allow for the latest iOS updates. Linggo Coach accounts can be accessed on any iOS mobile device.

FOR STUDENTS AGED 11-ADULT DocsPlus is a specially designed word processor with an adult look and feel, yet provides extensive writing support through high quality speech, powerful word prediction and our acclaimed Wordbars. REVIEW WRITING WITH CLEAR SPEECH As students write, their work is read back to them as each sentence is completed. Research shows this active engagement with text encourages students to find and correct errors for themselves. DEVELOP VOCABULARY AND SPELLING WITH WORD PREDICTION The intelligent predictor suggests words that fit the context of students’ writing. It’s easily customized to the right reading level, helping students to use good vocabulary and create flowing text with accurate spelling. BUILD WRITING CONFIDENCE WITH WORDBARS The unique Wordbars provide tabbed vocabulary support for any subject or topic – just click a word to add it to the document. Make your own Wordbars in a flash to support any topic, or get free, ready-made ones from our LearningGrids site within the app which covers a range of curriculum topics. CHECK WORDS BEFORE THEY ARE USED Learners can listen to words before they write them, helping them to find the word they want and achieve writing success. Any word in the predictor, spell checker or Wordbar can be heard before it is used so students can be sure of their selection. ADD VOICE NOTES Voice Notes are a simple yet highly effective way for students to add their own prompts so they don’t forget their train of thought – add them to the document at any time. ORGANIZE IDEAS WITH WORKSPACE Organizing ideas is a vital first step in the writing process, and one that many learners struggle with. WorkSpace is a user-friendly mind mapping area that makes it easy to capture and organize thoughts using words, Voice Notes, and pictures. It takes seconds to create a WorkSpace, and you’ll find hundreds of free, ready-made ones on all kinds of curriculum topics on LearningGrids, available directly from the app. ACCESS CURICULUM CONTENT The integrated Document Reader reads aloud any PDF or Word document, providing equal access to worksheets, exam papers and more. Worksheets sit alongside the document being written for easy access.
