US and Canada numbers only. Back up your contacts on your own phone. Then sign in on a new, spare or friend's phone and your backed up contacts are there. Calls you place show your number on the carriers we have tested. Set it up while you still have your phone. Your phone dies at the airport. It gets stolen at a festival. It breaks on the way to work. Your number still belongs to you, but your contacts and your way of reaching people are stuck on that phone. MobileyMe is the safety net you set up before that day. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Keep your number for calls: verify once on your own phone while you still have it. Calls you place then show your number on the carriers we have tested, even on another phone. Carriers decide how each call is labeled. • Back up your contacts to a private, encrypted cloud account. On your own phone, backup happens automatically once you grant Contacts access. On another phone you sign in on, your backed up contacts are there. • On iPhone, the app walks you through turning on carrier call forwarding from your own phone. It has to be on before your phone is lost. With call forwarding on through a US carrier, calls to your number can ring the iPhone you signed in on. • Text your contacts through the app, from a MobileyMe line. Texts never come from your own number, and login codes sent to your carrier number still go to your SIM. • Message other MobileyMe users in the app, with read receipts. Your MobileyMe messages are there on the phone you sign in on. • See the last place your phone checked in, if you allowed location. • Sign out of a lost phone from another phone. It signs out the next time that phone is online. • When you sign out of MobileyMe on a phone, the app removes your MobileyMe data from that phone. Your contacts and messages stay in your MobileyMe cloud account. • Block a number for calls and texts. • Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID instead of retyping your password. START FREE MobileyMe is free to download, with a monthly allowance of calls and texts. Premium adds unlimited calls and texts in the US and Canada. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID, and you can manage or cancel it in Settings. PRIVACY AND SECURITY Your data is encrypted when it's sent and when it's stored, in a private account protected by your sign-in. Your number, on any phone.
