Coffee Profile helps you record coffee beans, roasted beans, brewing methods, drip timers, and tasting notes in one organized workspace. Save grind size, dose, yield, water temperature, dripper, brew steps, and flavor impressions for each recipe. Track green beans and roasted beans separately, then connect them to your daily brews and tasting notes. Use it as a coffee log, pour-over timer, cupping notebook, and recipe archive for home brewing, specialty coffee practice, and cafe workflow review.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Bean Juice at 4.6 against Coffee Profile's 3.5. Bean Juice also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (14 vs 2). Coffee Profile's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and review sentiment (79% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coffee Profile sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bean Juice asks for nothing beyond the download.
Bean Juice holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bean Juice has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Bean Juice's written reviews are positive against 79% of Coffee Profile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Bean Juice ships an update monthly, Coffee Profile every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
