First, many thanks to my Bulgarian friends: Andrey Manolov and Emil Gyorev. For the great idea to create this application. If it was not for your help and encouragement, this project would not have been successful. This application uses rear camera and motion sensors of your phone to detect minimal glide ratio required to safely run (fly) lines in your Hike&Fly missions. Two modes of detection: from landing zone and from takeoff site. Use zoom feature to point your camera to destination accurate. Minimalistic UI (no stupid buttons, controls, etc): Just point your camera to landing (or to takeoff) zone, boom - you can see calculated glide ratio immediately.

Compatibility with Solar, Alti V4, GPS V4 and Evo V2. With or without an instrument, Syride Link supports you in flight The Syride Link app enhances your Syride instrument experience, but it can also be used independently for live tracking, even without an instrument. With the app, you can: Share your position in live tracking Share your position and follow connected Syride pilots in real-time on Syride.com in both 2D and 3D. The app uses either your instrument's GPS (if available) to save your phone's battery life, or your smartphone's GPS. Record your flight with your Alti V4 or Solar Your phone's GPS position can be transmitted to your instrument. The instrument can then record a flight in IGC format and automatically add it to your Syride flight log. On the Alti V4, you can display GPS data from the phone on your screen. Manage instrument settings from the app Easily modify your instrument's parameters directly from your smartphone. Upload your flights automatically or manually After landing, your flight track can be uploaded to your Syride profile automatically (if your phone is connected to a network) or manually.
