Universal Library
Read full descriptionHide full description
This game is a simulation of the universal library described in a short story, "The Library of Babel", by Jorge Luis Borges. The story can be found in several published collections and websites. As described, the Library contains all books of a certain size whose text is any possible sequence of lower-case letters and simple punctuation, even if it is nonsense. This simulation is of an interesting corner of the Library, tiny compared to the Borges vision, but large enough to get lost in. The game is an explorable virtual environment with a few treasure-hunt-like activities leading to books with meaningful content. There is a book that players can erase and rewrite to make into their own "personal vindication", and a book with a practically infinite number of pages. Individual books are searchable. You can mark and return easily to any alcove with an interesting book.

Death is not the end — it's a strategy. Rewind Survivor is a wave survival game where every time you fall, time rewinds and your past self returns as a ghost that fights alongside you. But be careful — each death also makes your enemies faster, tougher, and more dangerous. FIGHT Battle through endless waves of increasingly deadly enemies. Shamblers, Bombers, Juggernauts, Wraiths, and more — each with unique behaviors that will test your skill and positioning. DIE When your HP hits zero, time rewinds. Your ghost replays your previous run, firing at enemies and orbiting around you. Stack up to 6 ghosts, then watch them grow even stronger. BUILD Choose from powerful power-ups between waves: boost your damage, attack speed, critical strike chance, life steal, and more. Unlock super power-ups like Radiation Field, Shockwave Pulse, and Void Barrier to dominate the arena. SURVIVE Enemy health, damage, speed, and numbers scale every wave. Deaths push the difficulty even higher. The question isn't if you'll die — it's how far you can push before the horde overwhelms you and your ghosts. FEATURES - Unique rewind death mechanic — your past lives fight with you - 9 enemy types with distinct AI and attack patterns - 9 power-ups with multiple upgrade tiers - 4 super power-ups with permanent effects - Handcrafted pixel art with neon-on-dark aesthetic - Cosmetic skins, hats, and trails - iCloud save sync across devices
